In 2020, Eva obtained her masters degree in international trade and investment law from the University of Amsterdam. Whilst studying, Eva participated in the Amsterdam Law Clinic where she did research and provided pro bono legal advice. Moreover, Eva did two internships at international law firms, one focusing on competition & trade and one on litigation & dispute resolution. Eva wrote her master thesis about US sanctions under Title III of the Helms-Burton Act and the extent in which European operators in Cuba can be adequately protected by the EU Blocking Regulation and through the use of the WTO dispute settlement system. Subsequently, Eva came into contact with BenninkAmar, after which she joined the firm in July.
